4.0 OPERATION
The unit has a "Touch Screen" type control interface that can be operated with a simple touch of your
fingers. If your fingers are cold, the display may not react.
Do not use pointed or sharp objects, as they may damage the display.
4.1 CONTROL AREA
To switch the appliance on, press the ON/OFF button for more than 2 seconds. To switch the appliance
off, press the ON/OFF button for more than 2 seconds. The appliance switches to stand-by mode.
4.2 SWITCHING ON THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Before connecting the appliance carefully read the "Installation" section.
After connecting the appliance to the electric power supply, the display shows for approximately one minute
the round image that indicates that the system is loading.
4.3 LANGUAGE, DATE AND TIME SET UP
When the appliance is switched on for the first time, the user is asked to set the language, date and time.
Select the desired language and touch "OK". When "OK" is touched, the language is saved and the display
shows the next page: "Date and time". Set the date and time using the - and + keys.
After one minute of inactivity, the display returns to the main menu.
To change the "Language" or "Date and time" again in the future select:
Menu>Functions>Settings>Language or Date and time.
4.4 HEATING THE APPLIANCE WITHOUT LOAD
Before using the appliance for the first time, it should be heated without load to degrease the heaters. This is
done by performing a "Yogurt" cycle, during which the highest temperatures are reached. This procedure
might cause certain smells to develop. These are not a sign of a fault and will disappear quickly.
4.5 MAIN MENU
Blast chilling
Quickly cools raw or freshly cooked food to +3°C, stops bacterial growth, increases fridge life by 70% while
maintaining quality intact.
Deep freezing
Quickly cools raw or freshly cooked food to -40°C, while maintaining quality intact. It increases the period of
conservation in the freezer by up to a few months.
Storage
It keeps food at the desired temperature in the -40°C to + 45°C range with adjustable fan speed
between 25% and 100%
