Re-Licensing the Unit
If a new licensable feature is purchased for a unit then new license code has to
be programmed into the CRX to enable the function.
You may be asked to provide Domo with a serial number file. This can be
retrieved from the unit using the following procedure.
10.15 Generating a serial number file
Open the CRX controller application and connect to the unit that you want to
re-license and go to the options menu and select the “Generate serial number
file” option. This will then bring up a file selection window.
Choose a directory and file name to store the serial numbers in and then hit
save.
10.16 Programming a new license code
Once Domo has generated a new license for the unit you will receive a .lic file.
This needs to programmed into the unit using the following procedure.
Open the CRX controller application and connect to the unit that you want to
re-license and go to the options menu and select the “Write license codes”
option. This will then bring up a file selection window.
