Scambling Parameters
If the input signal is scrambled, then the appropriate scrambling
parameters should be entered. The user should specify the scrambling
type from the ‘Descrambling’ drop down menu, then enter the
appropriate key by selecting the key button.
RF Status Fields
The various RF status fields give useful RF information for each of the 4
antennas. The data includes RF level (signal strength) and SNR (signal
to Noise Ratio) for each antenna input.
Typically:
RF levels of –30 to –80dB and SNR levels of 24 – 12dB indicate a
strong signal
RF levels of –80 to –90dB and SNR levels of 12 to 6db indicate a
reasonable signal
RF levels of –90 to –95dB and SNR levels of 6 – 3dB indicate a weak
signal
Spectrum Display
