Users Connecting with RS232
Should select the RS232 Radio Button, select the appropriate COM
Port, and then press the connect button. If connection is achieved the
connection status will say
Connected
if connection fails it will say
Not
Connected
. If connection is not achieved, the user should check the
comm. Port, and the cable connection.
Users Connecting using Ethernet IP
Should select the Ethernet Radio Button. Then enter the IP address of
the Central Receiver being controlled, the default IP address is
192.168.0.50. The user should then press the connect button. If
connection is achieved the connection status will say
Connected
if
connection fails it will say
Not Connected
.
If the default IP address is unsuitable, then the user should connect
using RS232 (described above), and set the unit network parameters
shown above. The user should discuss this with the network manager.

2.4 Introduction to the Central Receiver Controller
In general on the Central Receiver control application, changes can be
made to the unit configuration using the drop down and data entry fields.
Changes are only applied to the unit when the “Apply” button is clicked.
Current values, as running in the unit, can be read using the “Refresh”
button.
