DECrepeater 90TS Installation and Configuration

Back Panel

1) Locking tab — Locks the module into a

DEChub 900 or DEChub 90 backplane.

2) 48-pin connector — Provides network and

power connections to the module when the
module is installed into a DEChub 900 or a
DEChub 90.

3) Grounding bolt — Provides a chassis

grounding connection to the module when the
module is installed into a DEChub 900 or a
DEChub 90.

4) Power connector — Receives dc current from

the power supply. This feature is used for
standalone operation only.

5) Manufacturing label — Lists the module part

number, serial number, revision level, and
power requirements.

6) Mounting tab — Secures the module to the

backplane when the module is installed into a
DEChub 900 or a DEChub 90.

7) Back cover — The back cover is used only

when the module is a standalone unit.  The AUI
port connector is incorporated into the back
cover.

8) AUI (15-pin D-Sub) port connector (Used

only when the module is installed as a
standalone unit.) — Ethernet 15-pin D-Sub
connector connects to an external medium
attachment unit (MAU) directly or using an AUI
cable. Refer to the
