CHECKING AND SETTING THE VALVE TIMING

- Tension to : (Pulleys slackened).
- Tighten the screw of the roller

Fit the tool

- Tighten the screws
(10)
to
7.5 m.daN
.
- Remove the tools.
- Rotate the crankshaft by two turns (Normal direction of rotation).
- Check the pegging of the crankshaft/camshaft using tools
[2]
and
[3]
.
NOTE :
Tools
[2]
and
[3]
should slide in easily.
- Remove the tools.
