Field Description
Domain Name
If required by your ISP, this was entered on the Basic Setup
screen.
Connection Type
Indicates the type of Internet connection you are using. For
dial-up style connections such as PPPoE or PPTP, there is a
Connect button to click if there is no connection and you
want to establish an Internet connection.
Connection State
Indicates if the Gateway is connected or disconnected.

Click the DHCP Release button to disconnect the
gateway.

Click the DHCP Renew button to connect the gateway.
IP Address Displays the Gateway's Internet IP address.
Subnet Mask and Default
Gateway Displays the Gateway's Subnet Mask and Default Gateway
address for DHCP and static IP connections.
DNS1-3
Displays the DNS (Domain Name System) IP addresses
currently used by the Gateway.
MTU
Displays the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) setting
for the Gateway.
Local Network
The Local Network screen displays information about the local network.
Field Description
MAC Address Displays the MAC Address of the Gateway's local interface.
IP Address Displays the Gateway's IP address as it appears on your local network.
Subnet Mask Displays the Gateway's Subnet Mask.
DHCP Server Displays the status of the Gateway's DHCP server function.
Start IP Address
Displays the beginning IP address for the range of IP addresses used by
devices on your local network.
End IP Address
Displays the ending IP address for the range of IP addresses used by
devices on your local network.
DHCP Client Table
Click the DHCP Clients Table button to view the DHCP Client Table,
which lists computers and other devices that have been assigned IP
addresses by the Gateway. The list can be sorted by Client Name, IP
Address, MAC Address, and Expires columns (how much time is left
for the current IP address). To remove a DHCP client, select the
associated check box and click the
Delete button.
