Static Routing
Set Up Static Routes

To set up a static route between the Gateway and another
network, select a number from the
Select set number
drop-
down list. (A static route is a pre-determined pathway that
network information must travel to reach a specific host or
network.)

Enter the following data:
–
Enter Router Name
—The Router Name identifies the
host.
–
Destination
—The Destination IP Address is the address
of the network or host to which you want to assign a
static route.
–
Subnet Mask
—The Subnet Mask determines which
portion of an IP address is the network portion, and
which portion is the host portion.
–
Gateway
—This is the IP address of the gateway device
that allows for contact between the Gateway and the
network or host.

Depending on where the Destination IP Address is located,
select
LAN & Wi-Fi
or
WAN (internet)
from the
Interface
drop-down menu.

To save your changes, click the
Save
button. To cancel your
unsaved changes, click the
Cancel
button. For additional
static routes, repeat steps 1-4.
Delete a Static Route

To delete a static route, choose the route from the
Select set
number
drop-down list.

Click the
Delete
button.

Click the
Save Changes
button.
