Maintaining the Router
The Cisco 12006 or Cisco 12406 Router is equipped as ordered and is ready to
install and start up when it leaves the factory. After you install and configure the
router, you might need to perform other procedures to ensure that the router
continues to operate properly. Also, as your networking requirements change, you
might need to upgrade your system by adding or changing components.
This chapter describes how to maintain your router. The first section explains
