Mount the following as illustrated below:
- A precision pressure sensor ±0.5 mm H2O.
- A pressure source, for instance a squeeze bulb.
- A valve and a “T”
Remove the Alveograph's casing (see op. A1-1) , disconnect the
sensor's feed pipe on its solenoid valve, and connect it to the test
assembly as illustrated.
a. Checking an air pressure sensor
1. On the PC, select the “Calibration” screen.
2. Blow air in from the “pressure source” until the pressure rises
to about 100 mm on the screen's gauge.
3. Close the valve and check that the value on the pressure
gauge remains the same to within 1 mm after stabilization.
4. Reconnect the hose to the solenoid valve and put the hood
back on the instrument.
