9. ADJUSTMENT
9.1 User Indication Adjustment /Indication Check
(7) Clearing User Indication Adjustment
Clearing of the user indication adjustment value is performed in the
user indication adjustment mode (Refer to (6) User Indication
Adjustment Procedure mentioned early.).
When the user indication adjustment value is cleared, the adjusted
value within the instrument is placed with the value on shipping.
1) Clearing User Indication Adjustment Value
While the adjustment position selection lamp (“ZERO” or
“SPAN”) blinks, press the both right and left keys simultaneously
for 3 seconds or more (simultaneous 3 seconds press of two
keys. Refer to 6.2 Operation/Setting Change (2) Key Operation
Type). The alarm lamp blinks for about 3 seconds and the user
indication adjustment value is cleared.
* Dot-printing type:
All adjusted values with the same scale are cleared.
* Pen type:
Adjusted value of selected pen input is cleared.
(8) Adjustment of Only Zero Side Position
With the user indication adjustment, when the adjustment is
performed only for the zero side position, the indication value of the
input value is shifted to 0 % of the scale plate for the adjustment.
If it is shifted to the right side, the input shifts to the right side wholly;
therefore, the input which is equivalent to 100 % of the scale plate
may become over-range.
For the user indication adjustment for only 0 % position, the
adjustment range mentioned in “ : Limitation of
Adjustment”, 3) Adjustment Method, is the precondition.
When the adjustment of shifting arbitrary amount is required, refer
to 9.2 Shift Programming mentioned later.

Adjusted value
[Dot-printing type]
The adjusted value is reflected to all channels.
However, for the double/triple scale (optional), the adjusted
value of the channel with the same scale as the channel of
the dotter on transition to the indication adjustment mode is
reflected.
[Pen type]
The adjusted value is reflected to pen input.

Clearing
[Dot-printing type]
The adjusted value is cleared for all channels.
However, for the double/triple scale (optional), the adjusted
value of the channel with the same scale as the channel of
the dotter on transition to the indication adjustment mode is
cleared.
[Pen type]
The adjusted value of pen input selected in the indication
adjustment mode is cleared.
Adjusted Value
When wrong operations are performed in the user indication
adjustment mode, and if setting operation for the adjusted value
is not performed with ENTRY key and the user indication
adjustment mode is finished, nothing is changed.
If the ENTRY key for setting of the adjusted value is operated
after wrong operations are performed, abnormal data is written
on the user indication adjustment value and the instrument
malfunctions.
If operation/indication failures occur due to abnormal user
indication adjustment data, perform either one of the following
operations.

●
Clearing of adjusted value
Normal state is returned.
