9. ADJUSTMENT
9.1 User Indication Adjustment /Indication Check
3) Adjustment Method
1. Give Input.
Give input which accords to the adjustment position (Zero side:
Left end of the scale plate = Minimum value of the scale/Span
side: Right end of the scale plate = Maximum value of the scale)
from the channel to be adjusted on user indication adjustment.
When the selection position is selected, the pointer moves to the
indication position which accords to the current input value.
For dot-printing type, input is updated every 3 seconds, and the
alarm lamp blinks once on input update.
For pen type, input is updated every 125ms, and the alarm lamp
blinks in 1 second interval on input update.
2. Input Value is Set.
When the input value is set, press ENTRY key.
When the ENTRY key is pressed, the input updated value is
set. After that input is not updated; therefore, even if input values
are changed, the pointer does not move.
3. Adjustment Position is Set.
For user indication adjustment, move the pointer to the
adjustment position with pressing the left/right keys (Refer to
“
: Pointer Movement with Left/Right Keys
Pressed”.). While the pointer moves, the alarm lamp repeats
short blinks. When ENTRY key is pressed, the alarm lamp
blinks, and the indication adjustment value is set.
The pointer moves 0.1mm by pressing the right or left key once
(immediate releasing after pressing) (If the key of opposite
direction is pressed once continuously, the pointer may not
move because of the indication deadband.).
While the left/right keys are pressed, the pointer moves
continuously receiving the keys in 0.1 second cycle. When the
key is released, the pointer stops immediately.
The alarm lamp blinks once every movement of 0.1mm.
Moving of Pointer by Pressing Right/left Keys
The user indication adjustment is set when ENTRY key is
pressed (The adjustment value is written within the instrument.).
When the adjustment value is specified (changed), the alarm
lamp blinks for about 3 seconds.
Setting of Adjustment Position Value
The user indication adjustment includes two methods as follows.
(1) Adjustment of both of “Zero side and span side”
(2) Adjustment of “Only zero side position”
(Refer to (8) Adjustment of Only Zero Side Position mentioned
later.)
With the user indication adjustment, adjustments of zero side
and span side are performed separately; however, avoid
adjustment of only span side. Otherwise adjustment errors may
occur.
Perspective of Adjustment Method
* When MODE key is pressed during setting, the setting mode
is finished (If setting of the input value is waited, MODE key
operation is not received.).
*
When nothing is performed during setting, the setting mode is
finished after about one minute. In the case where the setting
of the input value is waited or the position of the pointer is to
be set (the pointer can be moved), the state is continued.
*
Indication/recording operation is interrupted during the setting.
Key Operation
Input is given which accords to the adjustment position (Zero
side: Left end of the scale plate = Minimum value of the
scale/Span side: Right end of the scale plate = Maximum value
of the scale) from the channel to be adjusted on user
i
ndication
adjustment, however, if the input value is not within the
adjustment range of the instrument, normal adjustment cannot
be performed.
●
Adjustment range
Zero side: -1.1 to +5.0 mm
(-0.6 to +2.7 %)
Span side: -5.0 to +1.5 mm
(-2.7 to +0.8 %)
If the input value is outside of the adjustment range above,
normal adjustment cannot be performed.
Whether the input value is within the adjustment range can be
judged with the pointer which moves to the both directions of
right and left with the first right/left keys operation after the input
value is set (Refer to “
: Pointer Movement
with Left/Right Keys Pressed”.). If the operation of the key for
the pointer to move to the adjustment limitation side is not
received (The pointer does not move and the alarm lamp does
not blink.), normal adjustment cannot be performed.
* If it is required that the indication value shifts fully for an
arbitrary value, perform shift programming (Refer to 9.2 Shift
Programming mentioned later.).
Limitation of Adjustment
