6. OPERATION/SETTING
6.4 Recording Operation
(AUTO CH/ INDICATE Switch)
(1) AUTO CH/INDICATE Switch (Refer to 3.2 Display
Operation Part.)
[Dot-printing type] AUTO CH Switch
1) When AUTO CH Switch is Up Position (ON State)
Channels are switched with 6-second interval (Option: 3-second
interval for dotting interval of 3 seconds), and
indication/recording is performed (Recording mode).
Update input linked to channel switching interval.
2) When AUTO CH Switch is Down Position (OFF State)
No recording is performed, and the input of the channel
indicated by the dotter is taken in with 1-second interval and only
indication is performed (One-point indication mode).
The procedure for the one-point indication mode is as follows.
1. When the channel indicated by the dotter becomes the one
you want to indicate, place the AUTO CH switch in the down
position.
2. The alarm lamp blinks for about 1.5 sec., and chart feeding
and dotting operation stop. Only pointer moves in
accordance with the input value.
3. To restart recording, place the AUTO CH switch in the up
position.
On one-point indicate mode, update input data by every one
second. Start moving indication by input data and when stop
moving (indication position), start moving by next data of input
update interval. The data inputted during indication is moving. It is
not to be a target of indication.

During the recording mode the indication position is corrected
for every 12 points; however, during the one-point indication
mode it is not corrected. If the position of the indication
mechanism is displaced by external causes or others, the
displacement continues without change.
For the one-point indication mode usage for a long term, it is
recommended to switch to the recording mode regularly.
Notes on One-point Indication Mode Usage
When AUTO CH switch is switched (changed), the alarm lamp
blinks for about 1.5 seconds. The indication channel information
during the one-point indication mode is written to the internal
nonvolatile memory (EEP-ROM).
Switching of AUTO CH Switch
Indication (recording) positions are corrected per 12 points. On
the position correction operation, the indication moves to
around the lower limit position, and temporary standby (stop)
operation is performed.
The position correction operation is performed for every 12
points regardless of the number of input points.
