Depending on the cellular network provider and what type of connection is to be made,
individual settings may be necessary. Contact your provider or network administrator
for the correct settings.
Using the FTP server
CC Pilot™ XS has an in built FTP server to be used for remotely upload or download
information from the unit.
The default security settings for FTP is to allow anonymous access, which gives the
connecting entity possibilities to upload files, delete files and rename files without
authorization. Anyone can log in using the username "anonymous" and any password
to gain access.
Be aware that when connecting CC Pilot™ XS to a network the FTP server is open for
anyone to access.
Using Telnet server
You can interact remotely with CC Pilot™ XS using the built in Telnet server. The telnet
server is accessed using a Telnet application to contact the CC Pilot™ XS using
network connection.
No login is needed to logon to the unit.
Be aware that when connecting CC Pilot™ XS to a network the Telnet server is open
for anyone to access.
