NOTE! To prevent the loss of information, which is stored on the hard disc, the unit
must be shut down correctly. If the unit shuts down incorrectly or the power is switched
off to the unit this can lead to corrupt files and damage to the hard disc.
The Control Panel
Settings in Windows CE can be changed through the Control Panel. Using the Control
Panel it is, for instance, possible to change the settings for the screen, network
connections as well as time and date.
The Control Panel is activated from the start menu by clicking on the
Start
Button, then
choosing
settings
, and then
Control Panel
.
Calibrate the Touch screen
If the touch screen needs to be calibrated, the calibration routine starts automatically
when the touch screen is tapped. Follow the instructions as shown on the screen to
calibrate the touch screen. If the calibration does not succeed, the calibration routine
will start over. The calibration can be cancelled by pressing the
Escape
(Esc) button on
an attached keyboard.
The calibration routine can be started manually by selecting the alternative
stylus
on
the control panel. Chose the
Calibration
tab in the dialogue box as shown and press
the button
Recalibrate
.
