Connecting the Power Supply
This instruction addressed vehicle installations but the principle is the same also for
other types of installations. See also the description of the pinouts for the Power Supply
Connector under the section Connectors.
Carefully observe the connection diagram below. Ensure that their plugs are turned the
right way around and that they are not forced in but lock together
smoothly and easily.
GND is connected to the vehicle’s ground.
Battery (pin 1), i.e. the computer’s power supply (+28 VDC) is coupled directly to the
vehicle’s battery (BATTERY) through a 5-A fuse (F1). If applicable connect the on
board computer before any main switch, as per the illustration above.
ON/OFF (pin 2), i.e. the computer’s on/off signal is connected though a 5-A fuse (F2) to
the battery. If the vehicle has a main power switch (S1, MAIN SWITCH) the computer
shall be connected after it, as in the illustration above.
By connecting the power supply according to the illustration above, the vehicle
computer will automatically start when the main switch is turned on, and shut down
when the switch is turned off. While the main switch is in the ON position, the onboard
computer can be turned off and on with the On/Off-button.
The Power Supply Cable’s leads, which are supplied by CC Systems AB, are colour-
coded according to the table below.
