OPERATIONAL SEQUENCE
Place an empty pallet onto the deck / conveyor of the Model 520 BB. If your system is
equipped with an automated pallet dispensing press pallet indexing PB to bring a
empty pallet into position. It will stop automatically.
Next, hang the four (4) straps of the bulk bag onto each of four (4) bag strap support
latches. Place the rear straps first and then the front two closest to the operator. Last,
fit the bulk bag inlet spout onto dust tight fill head.
Press the Blue PB to inflate the bag seal cuff. The Bag Cuff Inflate button is mounted
on the fill head.
Wait until cuff is fully inflated,
Press the Start PB (found on controller) to initiate the fill process.
If your machine is equipped with a pre-bag inflation function (OPTIONAL), the 3 way
valve will switch positions an
d the 4” butterfly valve will close. The bag will start to be
inflate to its full size prior to filling.(this a timed cycle),
After inflation the 3 way valve will switch again
and open the 4“ butterfly, opening the
port to dust collection and allowing the inflated air in the BB a location to escape. The
weighing scale will stabilize and the controller will take a tare weight (zeroing out the
weight of the pallet and the empty BB). If the scale cannot stabilized because of
vibration / motion around the machine, an indicator lite will appear on the display of the
weight indicator and remain there until the influence ceases. When the motion stops,
the scale will tare and zero.
The overhead feed device will open or turn on and product will pour through the filler
head into the bag.
If the Model 520 unit is equipped with a bag densification system (OPTIONAL), a
predetermined weight needs to be entered into the controller. When this weight set
point is reached a pop-up / fixed densifying deck will raise up / start to densify the
material in the BB.
After a Pre-determine settling time set in the controller or if the bulk set point is
reached, the vibrators will stop.
NOTE
: During the time the table is vibrating, the weight on the controller display will
not register weight.
NOTE:
When bagging light, fluffy powders, it is necessary to use a bag densifier to
help densify and stabilize the BB before bag is released. There are various
