Function indicator
This indicator appears when you press the
FUNC
key. Pressing a key while
this indicator is on the display causes the function marked around the key to
be executed.
Shift indicator
This indicator appears when you press the
key. Normally when you press
a character key while inputting Thai text, the characters to the lower right of
the keys are input. When the shift indicator is displayed, it means that the
keyboard is shifted and so the characters to upper right of the keys are input.
Example:
If both the caps mode indicator and the shift indicator are shown on the
display, the characters to the lower right of the keys are input.
In the case of alphabetic input, upper-case characters are input while the
shift indicator is displayed. The number keys input the symbols marked in the
upper left corners of the keys. If both the caps mode indicator and the shift
indicator are shown on the display, the keyboard is shifted to lower-case input.
The keyboard automatically unshifts (and the shift indicator disappears) as
soon as you input a character.
Caps indicator
This indicator appears when the Label Printer is in the caps (upper-case)
mode. Pressing the
key enters the caps mode. The Label Printer remains
in the caps mode until your press the
key again. Normally when you
press a character key while inputting Thai text, the characters marked in the
lower right corners of the keys are input. When the caps indicator is displayed,
it means that the keyboard is shifted and so the characters marked in the
upper right corners of the keys are input. If both the caps mode indicator and
the shift indicator are shown on the display, the characters marked in the
lower right corners of the keys are input.
In the case of alphabetic input, upper-case characters are input while the
caps indicator is displayed.
If both the caps mode indicator and the shift indicator are shown on the
display, the keyboard is shifted to lower-case input.
Input language indicators
These indicators let you know what type of characters can be input (Thai or
alpha-numeric).

select between normal, bold, and outline.
Effect indicators
