Shooting a Snapshot using Recorded and
Edited Face Data

record and edit face data, yo

se it to shoot
photographs. The camera

ill record images in accordance

ith
the priority le

els yo

config

red for each set of face data.
1.
Enter a REC mode.
2.
Press [
S
] (
) once.
3.
Use [
W
] and [
X
] to select “
Face
Recognition: Family First” and then press
[SET].
4.
Point the camera at the
subjects.
The camera
w
ill detect the
faces of the people
w
hose
face data has
b
een sa
v
ed in
camera memory. The
detected faces all
w
ill
b
e
b
o
u
nded
b
y frames after detection is complete.

The frames
w
ill
b
e colored according to the priority le
v
el
of the face:
W
hite (lo
w
est), yello
w
, or green (highest). A
green frame indicates the highest priority face
w
hen the
image is recorded.
5.
Half-press the shutter button.
This

ith the highest priority (the one

ith the green frame) and adj

st its

rightness.
W
hen
foc

sing is complete, a green foc
u
s frame

ill appears at
the faces that
w
ere indicated

y green frames in step 4

e.
6.
When you are ready to shoot, press the
shutter button the rest of the way.

(Tracking)” is selected for the AF area

“Family First” is selected as the face recognition mode
