MANAGING YOUR FILES
Files can b e copied from the camera’s bu ilt-in memory to a
memory card, or from a memory card to bu ilt-in memory.
This makes it possi b le, for example, to perform the follo w ing
steps and copy a file from yo u r memory card to another person’s
memory card.

Copy the file from yo u r memory card to the camera’s bu ilt-in
memory.

Remo v e yo u r memory card and insert the other person’s
memory card.

Copy the file from bu ilt-in memory to the other memory card.
IMPORTANT!
•
Yo u can copy snapshots, mo v ies, a u dio snapshots, or
Voice Recording files yo u recorded w ith yo u r camera.
•
Yo u cannot copy a snapshot that is in the FAVORITE
folder.
•
W hen a copied file image appears on the f u ll-month
calendar screen, it is displayed on the date that it w as
copied (page 166).

Copying All Files in Built-in Memory to a
Memory Card
The follo w ing operation copies all files from bu ilt-in memory to a
memory card. Yo u cannot copy files indi v id u ally.
1.
Load the memory card to which you want to
copy the files into the camera.
2.
Turn on the camera, enter the PLAY mode and
then press [MENU].
3.
On the “PLAY” tab, select “Copy” and then
press [
X
].
4.
Use [
S
] and [
T
] to select “Built-in Card”
and then press [SET].
This starts the copy operation. W ait u ntil the “B u sy... Please
w ait...” message disappears from the monitor screen b efore
performing any operation on the camera.
•
After the copy operation is complete, the last file copied
w ill b e displayed on the monitor screen.
