7. Align the hole in the cone, 2, with the grease fit-
ting, 3, in the ring. Align the holes in the cone, ring
and cover band. Install the Philips head screws,

Installation
1. Apply anti-seize to the gearbox input shaft. Install
the shear bolt hub on the gearbox shaft.
2. Place the special bolt, 1, thread end first, into the
non machined end of the yoke hole. Position the
bolt in the yoke with the special tapered portion
of the bolt toward the groove in the shaft. Tap the
bolt end until the head of the bolt is within 1/4
″
of
the yoke and the threaded end is protruding out
of the yoke. Place a washer and nut, 2, on the
bolt. Torque the nut to 142 N
⋅
m (105 ft lbs).
Rap the head of the bolt with a hammer and
retighten the nut.

4. Slide on the front PTO section. The PTO sec-
tions will only slide together in one radial
position. The male half has three points. One of
the three points, 1, is flat on top.
