Configure the appearance of the waveform settings at power on.

• L=10 C=5 —standard gain for limb leads, half the
standard gain for chest leads
• L=20 C=10 —double the standard gain for limb leads,
standard gain for chest leads

Artifact Filter
Select the upper frequency response.
•
150 Hz —provides the most accurate recording and
should be used when little or no noise is present.
NOTE: The American Heart Association’s 1990
Recommendations for Standardization and Specifications
in Automated Electrocardiography: Bandwidth and Signal
Processing pertaining to high-frequency response for both
adult and pediatric recordings are met when using the 150
Hz setting.
• 40 Hz —reduces muscle artifact and high frequency
environmental noise for a smoother trace but less fine
detail.
This filter setting applies only to the printed report and
displayed ECG. The data analyzed by the
measurement and interpretation software is not
affected.
