2-6    Installing the Desktop Manager Software

Chapter 2

6. In the Add Unlisted or Updated Printer dialog box, click Canon

MultiPASS C20 Printer and click OK.

7. In the Printers dialog box, under Installed Printers, click Canon

MultiPASS C20 Printer and click Set As Default Printer.

8. To exit the Printers dialog box, click Close.

You are now ready to install the Desktop Manager.

To install the Desktop Manager software:

1. Insert the backup copy of the first Desktop Manager diskette in your

diskette drive.

2. In Program Manager, on the File menu, click Run.

3. In the Run dialog box, type the following command (where A:

represents the drive where you inserted the diskette), and click OK.

A:\SETUP

4. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

When the Setup MultiPASS Utilities dialog box is displayed, enter the
fax setup information you prepared earlier.
