Replacing components

This section includes information about removing and installing imagePASS components.

Before servicing the imagePASS

It is strongly recommended that before you service the imagePASS, you carefully read all 
precautions and notices (see pages 

9

-

12

). 

Also, keep in mind that the most common cause of a hardware problem is a faulty or loose 
connection. Before you replace an expensive component, check internal and external 
connections (see 

page 23

).

Copier interface board

The copier interface board connects directly to PCI-E on the motherboard (see
