• Do not point the camera at strong light sources (such as the sun on a clear day or strong artificial light sources).
Internal components such as the image sensor could be damaged.
• Do not use or store the product outside the operating or storage environment. Failure to do so may result in
damage due to the degradation of image quality or internal components.
• This product complies with the Dust-resistant/Waterproof Specification (IP65) rating. However, long exposure to
rain may result in the corrosion of the outer shell, due to acid and heavy metals in the rain water.
• If there is condensation, wait to power on, until the condensation dissipates.
• Beware of freezing conditions. The product does not have a freeze-proof structure so take precautions when
installing it in locations that may freeze. The product may not operate correctly if frozen.
• If the camera is installed outdoors, rain, snow, frost, etc. may adhere to the lens protector on the front of the
camera, and visibility of the acquired video can be impaired. In addition, the lens protector may become dirty and
the image quality may deteriorate due to the effect of dust or automobile exhaust fumes in the air. When installing
the product outdoors, pay close attention to the impact of the surroundings on the video.
• Move the pan-tilt head regularly. Dust, water, snow, etc. may accumulate and cause image degradation or
malfunction. In addition, to prevent dust from sticking to the lens, it is recommended that the pan-tilt head be tilted
down with the enhanced ND filter activated when not in use for a long period of time.
• Pan and tilt may not operate properly in locations where strong winds may blow at 15 m/s or more.
• Do not use for vehicle-mounted operations. Vibration may cause loss of image quality or damage to internal
components.
