IPv4 and IPv6 Prioritization
450 Platform Family provides operators the ability to prioritize IPv6 traffic in addition to IPv4
traffic. IPv6/IPv4 prioritization can be configured by selecting a CodePoint and the corresponding
priority from the GUI of the AP/BHM and the IPv6/IPv4 packet is set up accordingly. There is no
GUI option for selecting IPv6 or IPv4 priority. Once the priority is set, it is set for IPv4 and IPv6
packets.
Configuring IPv4 and IPv6 Priority
IPv4 and IPv6 prioritization is set using the DiffServ tab on the AP/BHM and SM/BHS (located at
Configuration > DiffServ). A priority set to a specific CodePoint will apply to both IPv4 and IPv6
traffic.
