Using the Biplane Mode
The Vimedix simulator is set to display images in standard 2D by default. Activating the Biplane Mode
allows users to obtain two cross sections from one probe position. By default, the secondary beam is
perpendicular; however, the position relative to the primary beam can be adjusted using the sweep, tilt
and rotation settings in the Biplane Mode settings.
To activate the Biplane Mode, click the
Biplane Mode
button located in the Ultrasound panel.

button located in the Biplane
section of the Ultrasound panel.
