Full Duplex Flow Control (Selectable)
Used to set the flow control feature on each port for a specific mode. The choices
are:
•
Symmetric – the port will operate in Symmetric mode, causing the port to
interpret received PAUSE frames and allow the port to transmit PAUSE frames
when necessary, for any speed connection.
•
Asymmetric Rx – the port will operate in Asymmetric Rx mode, causing the
port to interpret received PAUSE frames and disallows the port to transmit
PAUSE frames. This option is for Gigabit only.
•
Asymmetric Tx – the port will operate in Asymmetric Tx mode, causing the
port to ignore PAUSE frames and allows the port to transmit PAUSE frames
when necessary. This option is for Gigabit only.
This feature is not applicable to the 9H531-24 and 9H539-24 modules.
