Access Control Screen
The Access Control Screen, Figure 10, allows a user to specify the IP addresses of
SNMP management stations that are allowed to remotely manage a device.
IP addresses and access control list state are persistent. Clearing NVRAM
removes all IP entries and returns the access control state to Disabled. While
locally connected to the COM port of the chassis or module, ACL will not restrict
access to local management. (Distributed management must be considered.)
