SNMP Community Names Screen
The SNMP Community Names Screen, Figure 8, allows a user to modify module
community names, but not chassis community names. Community names act as
passwords to Local Management and are agents of security access to the module.
Access to the module is controlled by enacting any of three different levels of
security authorization (read-only, read-write, and super-user).
To access the SNMP Community Names Configuration Screen from the SNMP
Configuration Menu Screen, use the arrow keys to highlight the SNMP
COMMUNITY NAMES CONFIGURATION
menu item and press ENTER. The
SNMP Community Names Configuration Screen displays.

Super-User access gives a user full management privileges, allows existing
passwords to be changed, as well as all modifiable MIB objects.
