Coupling the hydraulic hose lines
7.4.2.1
WARNING
Risks to a person's health from infections may arise if hydraulic oil escapes under high
pressure and enters the body!
Before coupling the hydraulic hose lines, make sure that the hydraulic system on the front,
farmyard or wheel loader and on the machine has been depressurized. Set the actuator
lever on the control unit of the front, farmyard or wheel loader to the float position.
Seek immediate medical attention if injury from hydraulic oil has occurred.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from burns, malfunctions and hydraulic oil exiting under high
pressure may arise if the capacity of the hydraulic pump on the front, farmyard or
wheel loader is higher than permitted!
Limit the maximum capacity of the hydraulic pump on the front, farmyard or wheel loader to
40 l/min.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing, cutting, entrapment, entanglement and impact if
malfunctions occur as a result of incorrectly connected hydraulic hose lines!
When coupling the hydraulic hose lines, pay attention to the marks on the hydraulic plugs.
Check the assignment of the hydraulic hose lines on the control block of the machine if the
colored marks (dust caps) are missing:
P = pressure line,
T = return line.
NOTICE
Check the compatibility of the hydraulic oils before connecting the machine to the hydraulic
system of the front, farmyard or wheel loader.
Never mix mineral oils with organic oils.
Observe the hydraulic oil's maximum permissible operating pressure of 200 bar.
Couple only clean hydraulic plugs.
Make sure not to allow oil to enter the environment when coupling the hydraulic hose lines.
Slide the hydraulic plug into the hydraulic socket until you feel the hydraulic plug lock into
place.
Check if the coupling points on the hydraulic hose lines are seated correctly and tightly.
Coupled hydraulic hose lines:
must easily yield without tension, kinking or friction when the vehicles negotiate curves,
must not rub against foreign objects.
