Removing clogs
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing, shearing, cutting, amputation, entrapment,
winding up, entanglement, catching and impact may arise during clog removal!
Switch off powered work tools.
Hydraulic functions may be executed and work tools or parts of the machine may be
actuated inadvertently when the engine of the front, farmyard or wheel loader is running.
Switch off the engine of the front, farmyard or wheel loader.
Secure the engine of the front, farmyard or wheel loader against inadvertent start-up.
Secure the front, farmyard or wheel loader and the machine against rolling away
inadvertently.
Secure the machine/raised moving parts of the machine from being lowered inadvertently.
Before removing clogs, secure the front, farmyard or wheel loader and the machine from
starting up and rolling away inadvertently.
Wait until the machine has come to a complete standstill before entering the danger area
of the machine.
Requirements:
The front, farmyard or wheel loader and the machine have been switched on (see
Chapter 7.5.1 "Switching the machine on").
There is no one in the danger area.
The hydraulic circuit of the front, farmyard or wheel loader has been activated.
The door is clogged.
Work steps:
1.
Switch off the front, farmyard or wheel loader.
2.
Secure the front, farmyard or wheel loader and the machine against inadvertent start-
up and rolling away (see Chapter 6.4 "Switching off the front, farmyard or wheel loader
and securing it against inadvertent start-up and rolling away").
3.
Use the actuator lever at the control unit on the front, farmyard or wheel loader to
switch the hydraulic system off.
4.
Remove the clog until the door is clear again and the conveyor belt and the dosing
augers can rotate freely again.
The clog has been removed.
5.
Start the front, farmyard or wheel loader.
6.
Switch the hydraulic system on.
The bedding material can be discharged again.
