Door system construction
5.4.1 Sliding door system design
The individual design of the sliding door system can be found in the System Data. Various options for the door
system are listed below. The actual design of the door system may differ from these.
5.4.2 Steel profile frames
The door system frame construction consists of individual steel frame parts, which are connected to one
another with screw connections.
5.4.3 Door fillings
The door system can consist of different door fillings. At least one of the listed types of door fillings is installed.
5.4.3.1
Fiberglass door panels
The door panels consist of fiberglass bar double panels. These have a light transmission of up to 78%
(depending on the colour and thermal insulation properties).
5.4.3.2
Polycarbonate door panels
Polycarbonate (PC) is a transparent, highly impact resistant thermoplastic.
The panels consisting of multiple layers have light transmission of up to 80% (depending on the colour and
thermal insulation properties).
5.4.3.3
Sandwich door panels
Sandwich panels consist of two metallic top layers with a core of polyurethane foam or mineral fibres.
This design guarantees very good thermal insulation and high strength characteristics.
