ennen vuoteen jokaista siirtämistä
muistakaa irrottaa sähköjohto muuntajineen
pistorasiasta ja asettakaa se turvalliseen
paikkaan hoitovuoteen päälle siten, ettei se
pääse putoamaan tai vaurioitumaan.
n
Tarkistakaa säännöllisesti sähköjohdot ja
käsiohjaimen johdot, onko näkyviä vikoja
(naarmuja, johdot paljaat, taitoksia, painan-
teita jne.), ja tehkää tarkastus aina, jokaisen
mekaaniset kuormituksen jälkeen (esim. kun
on ajettu johdon päältä vuoteella tai tarvike-
vaunulla, voimakkaan vetämisen tai taivutta-
misen jälkeen, kun sänkyä on siirretty, vaikka
johdot ovat kiinni pistorasiassa.).

jokaisen paikan vaihdon jälkeen tai jokai-
sen vuoteen siirron jälkeen, ennen kuin pis-
toke kytketään pistorasiaan;

jatkuvassa käytössä käyttäjän on tehtävä

alimpaan asentoon, kun jätätte potilaan

voidaan vähentää vahingoittumisvaaraa, jos
potilas voisi pudota vuoteeseen mennessään
tai noustessaan siitä.

Kun käsiohjain ei ole käytössä, säilyttäkää
sitä siten, ettei se vahingossa pääse
putoamaan (ripustustakaa pidikkeeseen).
varmistakaa, etteivät vuoteen liikkuvat osat
vahingoita johtoa.
n
Potilaanne ja erityisesti lasten turvallisuuden
tähden estäkää vahingossa tapahtuvat
vuoteen sähkökäyttöiset säädöt asettamalla
käsiohjain potilaan tavoittumattomiin (esim.
vuoteen jalkopäähän) tai sulkemalla nämä
toiminnat, kun:

potilas ei kykene käyttämään hoitovuoteen
säätöjä tai vapauttamaan itseään vaaralli-
sesta asennosta;
4
potilas voi vaarantaa itsensä vahingossa
sähkömoottorin tahattomilla säädöillä;
4
sivulaidat on nostettu ylös (käden tai jalan
puristumisvaara makuutason selkä- ja
jalkaosia säädettäessä);
4
lapset ovat valvomatta huoneessa, jossa
hoitovuode sijaitsee.

säädöt saa silloin tehdä vain koulutettu
henkilö tai ne voidaan tehdä opastuksen
saaneen henkilön avustuksella!
n
Nostomoottorin vikaantumisesta voi
seurata vuoteen liikkuminen potilaalle
vaaralliseen Trendelenburgin asentoon.
Tässä tapauksessa vuode on säädettävä
takaisin vaakatasoon. Lukitse nostotoiminto
ja ota viipymättä yhteyttä hoitovuoteen
haltijaan.

Before any relocation of the nursing bed it
is imperative that the power cable is pulled
from the wall socket and that the transformer
unit is attached to the bed in such a manner
that the cable cannot fall or be dragged over
the floor.
n
check the power cord regularly for
damage (abrasions, exposed wires, kinks,
pressure marks, etc.) in particular:

after every larger mechanical strain (e.g.:
rolling over the power cord with the nursing
bed or with an equipment cart; after a strong
pulling or bending load caused by the bed
rolling away with the power cord still
attached to the wall outlet.)
4
after relocating before plugging in the
power cable.
4
during prolonged operating by the user.
n
do not use the area under the nursing bed
as a "parking spot" for any utensils.
n
Lower the reclining surface to its lowest
position when leaving the patient unat-
tended. This reduces the risk of injury to the
patient getting in and out of the nursing bed.
n
Keep the hand switch safe from acciden-
tally falling during non-use (hang it on the
hook). Take care that the the cable is not
damaged by the moving parts of the nursing
bed.
n
To protect the patient and especially chil-
dren from unintentionally adjusting the hand
switch, place it beyond their reach (e.g. at
the foot end) or lock the hand switch when:

the patient is not able to control the bed
safely or is unable to get out of dangerous
positions without help;
4
the patient could be endangered, because
of unintentional adjustments to the drive
motor;
4
the side rails are up:
(There is a possible danger that limbs
could be squeezed when adjusting the
back and thigh rest);
4
unsupervised children are in the room with
the nursing bed.
n
Adjustment functions can only be
performed by a trained person!
n
The failure of a lifting motor can result in
the bed moving into the Trendelenburg
position (head end lowered), which could
endanger the patient. if this occurs, the bed
must be returned to a horizontal position.
Lock the lifting function and inform the
operator immediately.
