Operations required on the heat exchanger when wet or dry
cleaning
▶ Use a hose to flush any dirt residues into the bucket.
▶ Clean the trap with water.
▶ Reinstall the siphon (condensate trap).

Cleaning the burner
▶ Blow-clean the burner rods and manifold from inside and outside
with compressed air.

Checking and adjusting electrode position
▶ Measure the distances between the electrodes as shown in Fig. 64
and adjust as necessary.
▶ Undo the screws on the electrode bracket. (
Fig. 65)
▶ Adjust the electrode bracket so that the electrodes are in the position
shown in Fig. 64.
▶ Tighten the screws on the electrode bracket.
WARNING:
Danger of fatal accident due to poisoning!
If the siphon is not filled with water, escaping flue gas
can place lives at risk.
▶ Fill the siphon with approx. 0.3 gallons of water.
