Lower the front roll into the lower
compartment (

) and press down firmly the
left and right ends to make sure the cog and
spigot are sitting correctly in their black
plastic housings (

).
Make sure that the cog on the print ribbon is on
the same side as the cog inside the print ribbon
compartment.
•
Insert the fully assembled print ribbon into
the print ribbon compartment, inside the
base unit (as shown below).
•
Place the end of the back roll over the spring
loaded green spindle inside the
compartment. Push the print ribbon up
against the green spindle (

) and lower the
other end of the ribbon into the
compartment (
2
).
