1. Attach the embroidery unit, and then carry out the
preparation before sewing. (Refer to pages 100 to 102.)
2. Touch the “EMBROIDERY EDIT” key.
The types of patterns which can be edited will be displayed.
3. Touch the “ ” key.
4. Touch the “ ” key on the second page, and then touch
the “SET” key.
1 This moves the sewing position in the direction of the
respective arrow. (Refer to page 132.)

If you touch this key, the embroidering position will be
returned to the center of the embroidering area.
3 This key deletes the pattern which is being edited. (Refer to
page 134.)
4 This key is used to switch to another pattern to be edited.
(Refer to page 137.)

If you touch this key, the pattern will be reversed
horizontally. This function cannot be used with some
patterns.

This key can be used to rotate patterns clockwise in steps of
90°. (Refer to page 133.)

Touch this key to move to the next step.
5. The pattern selected will be displayed in the center of the
embroidery area.
Touch the “END” key.
6. The pattern will stay displayed. Now select the characters.
Touch the “ ” key.

Touch this key to correct the edited pattern.
2 Touch this key after editing has been completed.
EXAMPLE OF PATTERN EDITING
The following example shows how a one-point pattern, a frame pattern and
characters can be combined to create the “ ” pattern.
