Slip the upper left cardboard core onto the blue gear of the cartridge and insert the rolls
into the cartridge holders.

Turn the upper right white spool clockwise to tighten the ribbon, as shown.

Turn the cartridge over and re-install it into the machine: Insert the recessed

and place the cartridge into its four holders.
