Changing Fax Forwarding Number
You can change the default setting of your fax forwarding number from a remote
FAX/MFC.

Dial your fax number.

When you hear the beep, immediately enter your Remote Retrieval Access Code
(

).

When you hear two short beeps, enter
9 5 4
.

Enter the new number of the remote FAX/MFC where you want your fax messages
forwarded (up to 20 digits), then press
# #
.

To retrieve the Memory Status List, when you hear two short beeps, use the dial pad
to press
9 6 1
.

Use the dial pad to enter the number of the remote FAX/MFC (up to 20 digits), and
then press
# #
.

After you hear your FAX/MFC beep, hang up and wait.Your FAX/MFC calls the
remote FAX/MFC. The remote FAX/MFC prints the Memory Status List showing the
new forwarding number.

Check the forwarding number.
If the forwarding number is incorrect, return to Step 1 and reset it.
You can not use
and
#
as dial numbers. However, if you want to store a pause,
press
#
. Also, if your FAX/MFC is connected to a PABX, you can press
#
first before
the FAX/MFC’s number. The

works as well as
Recall
key.
