Wipe disinfection for electrical devices without sterilization

Phase I
►
Remove any visible residues with a disposable disinfectant wipe.
►
Wipe all surfaces of the optically clean product with a fresh, disposable
disinfectant wipe.
►
Observe the specified application time (1 min minimum).

Inspection and checking
►
Inspect the product after each cleaning and disinfecting cycle to be
sure it is clean, functional and undamaged.
►
Set aside the product if it is damaged.
9.
Storage and transport
Note
For more information on storage and transport, see instructions for use of
OrthoPilot
®
4 stand FS110 (TA015224).

After extended storage (>3 months), connect the OrthoPilot
®
4 panel
PC to mains power 2 hrs before use in order to compensate for the self-
discharge of the UPS battery.
►
To transport the OrthoPilot
®
Elite
Hardware System outside of the clinic,
use the special transport packaging. Clean and disinfect product before
packaging in the reusable transport packaging.
Data protection/encryption
The OrthoPilot
®
USB security key is required for access to the system and
its operation.
►
Remove the OrthoPilot
®
USB security key and store separately from the
system so the system is secure from access by third parties.
10. Maintenance
The product requires no maintenance. It contains no products which must
be regularly replaced by the user or manufacturer.
The manufacturer recommends that the external power supply (if used) is
regularly inspected. The product must be inspected at least once every
12 months.

Perform the following tests pursuant to section 5 of IEC/EN/DIN 62353
during the regular inspection:
– 5.2 Visual inspection
– 5.3.3 Leakage currents
– 5.3.4 Measurement of insulation resistance
– 5.4 Function check (incl. battery inspection)

The test results must be documented in full pursuant to section 6 of
IEC/EN/DIN 62353 in a test report.

The maintenance intervals of the OrthoPilot® 4 components are described
in the relevant instructions for use for the components.

Switch off the device and unplug before clean-

Do not use flammable or explosive cleaning or
disinfecting solutions.

Ensure that no fluids penetrate the product
CAUTION
Damage to, or destruction of the product caused by
mechanical cleaning/disinfection!

Only clean and disinfect the product manually.
►
Do not sterilize the product under any circum-
stances.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the product due to inappropriate
cleaning/disinfecting agents!
►
Only use cleaning/disinfecting agents approved
for surface cleaning. Follow the manufacturer’s
instructions for the respective cleaning/disin-
fecting agent.
