Procedure

Take off the spring type hose clips using
spring clamp pliers part no. 877840.

Remove the preformed hoses from the
coolant elbows on the expansion tank
with a suitable tool.

Remove the rubber plate.

Step

Procedure

Mark the position of the coolant elbow.

Heat the water pump housing to approx.
80°C and unscrew the coolant elbow.

Clean the thread (remove LOCTITE resi-
dues).
