- Negative count direction of the encoder = assumption (observe
the count direction defined in the encoder data sheet)
L S-0-0277 bit 3 set to "1" if the encoder is rotating to the right;
S-0-0277 bit 3 set to "0" if the encoder is rotating to the left
R S-0-0277 bit 3 set to "0" if the encoder is rotating to the right;
S-0-0277 bit 3 set to "1" if the encoder is rotating to the left

When adjusting the polarity of the encoder, ensure that the count
direction of the encoder and the direction of rotation of the motor
are the same.
If this is not the case, the encoder polarity has to be adjusted via
parameter S-0-0277 bit 3.
