Inspection
The skid plate protects the engine. Check for dam-
age, cracks or looseness.

Under vehicle, remove bolts

, lift front of vehicle
completely untill it rests on its back wheels and
rear bumper, vertically; secure it safely in this po-
sition.
Remove the bolts

Installation
All Models
Installation is the reverse of the removal.
NOTE:
Install all bolts before torquing.
WARNING
Engine and muffler must be cold and fuel valve
must be shut off before removing the skid
plate. Otherwise, serious injuries may occur.
