Focusing the 10x lens
The lens has already been focused at the factory for
your machine. Re-ordered lenses can be adjusted as
followed.
-
Remove protective hood and sapphire lens
-
Remove lens holder 1
-
Slacken screw 2
-
Slightly tighten lens 2
-
Insert lens holder completely
-
Mount protective hood and sapphire lens
-
Touch drill against sapphire lens
-
Observe viewing screen and slightly retract drill
-
Either: image improves
-
Or: image becomes worse
-
Dismount protective hood and sapphire lens
-
Completely remove lens holder
-
Either: image improves
-
Carefully push lens inward (0.2 - 0.5 mm)

Or: image becomes worse
-
Carefully retract lens (0.2 - 0.5 mm)

Check focus and correct if necessary (as described
above)

Lightly tighten screw 1

Insert lens holder
-
Mount protective hood and sapphire lens
There are two lenses with different magnifications:

10x (standard)
-
Zoom lense 6-20 power
-
Switch off projection lamp
-
Remove protective cover and sapphire lens
bayonet mount

Remove lens holder
-
Screw in desired lens holder
-
Mount protective cover and sapphire lens
Bayonet mount
Changing the 10x lens
Projection lamp is hot.
