Operating the machine
Before using the machine, check the following

The condition of the grinding wheel

The condition of the point-splitting grinding wheel

The condition of the grinding wheel cover
-
The general condition of the machine
Check the following machine adjustments
-
Correct grinding wheel?
-
Right- or left-hand drill?
-
Point-splitting device for right- or left-hand drill?
To grind carbide drills, use the same procedure as for standard drills.
However, use a diamond grinding wheel.
