MENU CODE 7 - HOW TO ENTER THE TYPE OF DISPENSER
NOTE:
THIS MENU CODE MUST BE PROGRAMMED FOR ALL DISPENSERS.
Determine the dispenser’s model number from the serial tag located on side 1 inside of the unit on the deck. To prepare the dispenser for
operation, use the table below as a guide for dispenser programming and enter the recommended default values. This information must
be programmed for proper operation. If you are unable to program the dispenser following the steps below or experiencing problems,
please call Bennett Technical Support for help at 800-423-6638.

2 = 2 Grades
NUMBER OF HOSES

TYPE OF GRADE (TARGET PRESSURE)
(dispenser specific)
1 = P30
2 = P36 (Default)
NUMBER OF TIERS
(dispenser specific)
1 = 1 Tier (Default)
2 = 2 Tier
NUMBER OF DETECTORS
(Indicates a gas detector is present with Modbus Slave ID of 2 or 3)
0 = None (Default)
1 = Add2
2 = Add3
3 = Both
TYPE OF VALVE
1 = Solenoid (Default)
2 = Ball
TO ENTER DISPENSER CONFIGURATION, FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE:
To review or change the settings in Manager’s Mode 7, press the
[ENTER]
button on the keypad. Each time the
[ENTER]
button is pressed
the display moves through the dispenser options. Use the numeric keypad to enter a selection.
NOTE:
The access code (menu code 3) must be entered into the pump and the ppm display must indicate dashes (- - -)
before this mode may be entered.
DISPENSER TYPE
The dispenser type option is used to set the type of dispenser being operated. This option is set at the factory. The default setting will
appear in the Main Display.
0 = None (Default)
1 = CNG 1 – Single Bank
2 = CNG 3 – Three Bank

If necessary, enter the
Type
of dispenser using the numeric keypad and select option
2
. The default setting is for None as shown in
Figure 4.10
. This option will only accept
the options listed above.
Note
: If an error is made, press the correct number. The new number replaces the
error.

ENTER
] to save setting and to advance to the next option. If programming is
complete, press the [
CANCEL
] button to exit this menu option.

Press the [
CANCEL
] button again to exit mode 7.
