• To support uncompressed IP SMPTE ST 2022-6 / 2110 inputs for NMOS, this input
type must have been configured. See Configuring Uncompressed IP SMPTE ST
2022-6 / 2110 Inputs , on page 83. This also includes respecting all prerequisites for
uncompressed IP SMPTE ST 2022-6 / 2110 inputs.
• To support uncompressed IP SMPTE ST 2110 outputs for NMOS, this output type
must have been configured. See Configuring Head Streaming , on page 84. This also
includes respecting all prerequisites for uncompressed IP SMPTE ST 2110 outputs.
• NMOS is not a licensed feature, however SMPTE ST 2022-6 / 2110 inputs and SMPTE ST
2110 outputs are licensed features that are required to use NMOS. Ensure the following
licenses are activated:

KIP - OPT - UCIP - OUT
and
Rivermax license
to support uncompressed IP SMPTE ST
2110 Outputs.

to support uncompressed IP SMPTE ST 2022-6
/ 2110 inputs.

To manually configure the NMOS registry the multiviewer is to use
If the multiviewer did not automatically register itself as a node in the NMOS registry
through DNS-SD or if DNS-SD is unavailable, then proceed as follows.
1 Open XAdmin. See Opening XAdmin , on page 55.
2 Click

The System Configuration page appears. Scroll down to the
NMOS Registry

settings.

Nmos registry IP
address
Click
Add
to set the NMOS Registry Query API URL IP address. For
example, to use the NMOS registry built into GV Orbit, use the GV
Orbit server’s administrator IP address.
Nmos Registration
Port
Set the NMOS Registry Query API URL registration port number. For
example, when used with the NMOS registry built into GV Orbit, the
default port number is 4041 .
Nmos Query Port Set the NMOS Registry Query API URL query port number. For
example, when used with the NMOS registry built into GV Orbit, the
default port number is
