Multiviewer Cabling
Introduction
This chapter shows how to interconnect the multiviewer with its associated equipment.

Typical cabling diagram for a Kaleido

For a Kaleido

IP X320, the location of the optional Media Ports (

) depends on
the network interface option card that has been ordered / installed. See

IP Multiviewer Ethernet Port Usage
On the Kaleido

IP multiviewer’s rear panel are Ethernet connections that are to be used as
follows:
• The management port
LAN1
is used for multiviewer management: that is, any PC that
uses XEdit or XAdmin to configure this multiviewer and any Kaleido
