Trouble, symptoms Remedy
High pressure in the hydraulic system of the
steering control.
● incorrect connection of the high-pressure
hoses.
● the hoses shall be connected in strict
compliance with the operating manual.
● jamming of the relief valve of the metering
pump.
*● wash the relief valve and adjust it to the
pressure of 140…145 bar.
Oil leakage over the slide of the reverse tap:
The rubber O-rings are damaged or worn-
out.
Replace the rings (to prevent the rings from
being cut off against sharp edges of the
holes in the casing when being replaced,
the slide of the tap shall be moved out of
the casing in turn to the both sides by not
more than 7 mm)
* ATTENTION! Taking into account the extreme complexity and responsibility of the me-
tering pump from the standpoint of the steering control safety, its disassembling and re-
assembling shall be only performed by a specialist of the customer service department of
the manufacturer (or other authorized service organization) having been trained appropri-
ately, got familiar with the construction of the metering pump and documentation for ser-
vicing, disassembling and reassembling of the metering pump as well as subject to avail-
ability of all the required special fixtures, tools and special hydraulic stand ensuring the
adjustment and checking of the parameters and operation of the metering pump after the
repair performed. Otherwise, the full responsibility for inoperability of the metering pump
shall be imposed on the person who performed the disassembling and reassembling of
the metering pump, replacement of the parts or setting of the valves as well as on the
tractor owner.
Hydraulic Lift Linkage
The lift linkage without load fails to move upwards; when any of the distributor
handles is set to the “lift” or “drop” position, no distinctive sound emitted by the
pump under load is heard:
Clogging of the relief valve of the tractor’s
distributor.
Dismantle and wash the relief valve. Adjust
the pressure maintained by the relief valve.
The lift linkage without load fails to move upwards; when any of the distributor
handles is set to the “lift” or “drop” position, a distinctive sound emitted by the
pump under load is heard. On stopping the engine and moving the position handle
to the foremost and then rearmost position and starting the engine, the lift linkage
moves upwards (the draft handle shall be in the foremost position):
Clogging of the nozzle hole in the discharge
valve.
Dismantle the regulator-distributor from the
tractor, remove the bypass valve from it,
wash the valve and clean the valve nozzle
hole.
The lift linkage without load fails to move upwards; when any of the distributor
handles is set to the “lift” or “drop” position, a distinctive sound emitted by the
pump under load is heard. On stopping the engine and moving the position handle
to the foremost and then rearmost position and starting the engine, the lift linkage
does not move upwards (the draft handle shall be in the foremost position):
