bootmode

bootmode
Function:
The bootmode verb erases the current software and
returns the router to a state known as boot mode. Boot
mode allows the user to download new software into the
unit.
Instructions:
When bootmode is typed, you are prompted to confirm
the action. Entering yes carries out the bootmode
operation. Answering no cancels the verb.
Example:
The following shows how the bootmode verb is
executed:
box# bootmode
Are you sure you wish to ERASE ALL
SOFTWARE and REBOOT?
Press Y to confirm
y
Entering BootMode now
CLANET Loader 1.4
Type R - Sets LED to RED
G - Sets LED to GREEN
A - Sets LED to AMBER
O - Sets LED to OFF
K - Erase Config Sector
P - Erase Program Sector
B - Reboot unit

Warning:
This is a dangerous verb. If bootmode is executed,
the router is not functional until new code is downloaded.
Before you run this verb, ensure you have the means to
download new router code.
